The Liberty Stadium is commonly known as home to Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys Regional Rugby team. Since opening in 2005 the Stadium has boasted concerts by The Who and Sir Elton John plus the Junior IRB Rugby World Cup. It has today been announced that not only will the Liberty Stadium be known for these great sporting and musical events but will also boast a number of public events for 2009.

FMC, the catering and hospitality management team at the Liberty Stadium are proud to announce a number of exciting Shows dedicated to providing the community of South West Wales with information, expert advice  

The Shows include –
 

The Liberty Stadium Contemporary Wedding Show which will take place on Sunday 1st March;

Sunday March 1st 2009 will see the 3rd Liberty Stadium Contemporary Wedding Show. Jessica Jenkins, Event Organiser commented 'The Show has grown from strength to strength. With over 1000 square foot of exhibition space we are able to offer affordable exhibiting options, our FREE entry and car parking ensures a high number of visitors on the day along with our renowned internal and external marketing campaigns.

The Liberty Stadium Baby & Toddler Show which will take place on Monday 4th May;

The Liberty Stadium Baby and Toddler Show is a first for the Stadium team and will take place on the first Bank Holiday weekend in May. 'Nothing like this has ever taken place in Swansea before and we are extremely excited to be staging this event' said Hayley Slack, Event Organiser. 'Our aim is to provide a one stop shop for family information and advice from pregnancy to the early years of childhood.'
 

The Liberty Stadium Homes & Gardens Show which will also take place in May;

In 2008 the Liberty Stadium welcomed over 1,000 visitors to its Homes and Gardens Show featuring a Garden Café and exhibition, 2009 will see the Show return even larger and featuring tips on garden recycling, products for the home and garden plus demonstrations.

The Liberty Stadium Business Show which will take place on Thursday 17th September;

Last but by no means least; The Liberty Stadium Business Show 2008 was also a huge success for FMC with over 45 Companies exhibiting at the first Business Show of its kind in South West Wales. Guest speaker Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo Bra, addressed an audience of over 100 at an exclusive lunch saying she was 'delighted to be in Swansea'. The Business Show will return on Thursday 17th September with organisations and Companies such as the Bank of England, the West Wales Chamber of Commerce, The Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Directors all confirming their support for the Show once again.

James Back, Deputy General Manager of FMC, said 'We are delighted to announce this fantastic line up of events for 2009. Not only will these events provide a platform for local and national Companies to promote their goods and services they will also offer local communities the chance to visit our magnificent Stadium to buy products, source information, garner advice and enjoy the first class surroundings.'
